Aurender's much-loved A10 gets a major upgrade with this new high-performance streaming DAC and music server/streamer. Control and access come via an Intel N4200 Quad Core CPU, and the full-decode MQA DAC uses dual-mono AKM AK4490 chips.
Aurender does things right, so "dual mono" means all the way back to power suppliers, with dual-mono linear supplies that are carefully shielded.
The precision clock is TXCO based, meaning that it is a temperature compensated oscillator, commonly known as "oven controlled". These allow for extremely low jitter, which contributes in a big way to "musicality". PCM data is handled up to 768kHz / 32bit, DoP DSD up to 256, and native DSD up to 512.
The A15 offers balanced and unbalanced analog outputs as well as a USB digital output should you wish to use an external DAC. Volume can be controlled from the app, the front panel knob, or via the IR remote. This means the A15 can be connected directly to a power amp.
The IPS LCD 6.9" display is full color in a 1280 x 480 resolution. Optional storage is possible using two 2.5” trays for SSD or HDD. There are two isolated Gigabit LAN ports, and the super capacitor based UPS allows for safe shutdowns if the power goes.
A machined aluminum IR remote control is included.
